Let’s talk about CHOOF. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia and bringing some pretty righteous bangers with them.
They have a very nice history of touring with some heavy hitters: KING PARROT, DESPISE YOU, WEEDEATER and BURST, but CHOOF stand out all by themselves.
Unforgiving and very raw, and pretty ANGRY – they lay out a pyramid of grind and death metal riffs. Banshee screams and gruff growls churn out from the CHOOF house.
They kind of remind me of HEWHOCORRUPTS. They play fast and sharp, like when you try and make a shank out of a razor blade and toothbrush.
They released a brand new LP ‘A Very Special Blend of Psychology and Extreme Violence’ in January and did a few videos from the latest album. The videos themselves, are very well made, and almost like a very bizarre horror movie musical, with brain tinging death grind playing in the background.Â
They are bringing the house down in Australia and pretty soon, the world.
