Our world is in totally horrible shape. The racism, just people being horrible to other people, it’s everywhere.
The skateboard and punk scenes have always been very welcoming and very open, I have found it to be that way since I found my way into the scene(s).
We have to watch out for everyone, we have to help take care of each other. No one is going to help, unless you have a friend or someone that can help out and watch out for you.
Black Heaven Skateshop and Koloss Skateboards have a totally amazing set of merchandise, some totally radical designs, and a lot of items that make some serious statements.
They just put up a new shirt for sale and it is well worth grabbing.
The punk and skate scenes are for everybody. Get gnarly with a friend and keep on going.
Paul runs Give Praise Records and is the Editor at Shackle Magazine. Paul hangs out on Cape Cod in Massachusetts with his wife and son, Christopher. He also has been working at a offset print shop since 2003, and still tries to get out and skateboard on very small curbs.
